You know that I love Bell & Ross! Those are my favourite watches and probably I will never own one as they are ridiculous expensive for a watch! But on the other hand quality craftsmanship and hand made stuffs come with a price. So… this is a video from the latest Baselworld in Switzerland and the video description says: “For those who could not join us at Baselworld, explore the Bell & Ross booth and discover the main 2014 novelties”
Simple, elegant and made in Switzerland! What more to ask for a watch like this one? Maybe to be a little bit more reasonable priced… but then it would not be a Breitling!
A detailed video about watchmaking and specifically the making process of a dial. It is from the well known (and highly expensive) Swiss manufacturer Frank Muller. Now I understand why those watches and chronographs are so ridiculously expensive! But even now that I showed my appreciation I still can’t own one!
Breitling is a privately owned company founded in 1884 in Grenchen, Canton of Solothurn, Switzerland. They design, engineer, manufacture and distribute chronometer watches that look amazing. They are also close related and inspired from the aviation industry and especially from fighter jets. That is even better for me
This is the most amazing thing I happened to cross on the net today! Seriously you must watch the video in order to appreciate it. Of course, you have to be a little bit of a geek as well but this is a totally different story. I am copying from the YouTube description here: “The Cubli is a 15 × 15 × 15 cm cube that can jump up and balance on its corner. Reaction wheels mounted on three faces of the cube rotate at high angular velocities and then brake suddenly, causing the Cubli to jump up. Once the Cubli has almost reached the corner stand up position, controlled motor torques are applied to make it balance on its corner. In addition to balancing, the motor torques can also be used to achieve a controlled fall such that the Cubli can be commanded to fall in any arbitrary direction”
